Scotland-born Parisian Paradise 100 aka Graham/Africa has been percolating stripped-back, bouncy-castle house constructs onto the web for a couple years but never locked them in wax till now. High time.

Paradise 100 has unveiled the first track off his debut EP The Loin King, which comes out October 1st on 100% Silk. Pitchfork premiered title track "The Loin King", describing it as a "six-minute house jam" that "sweetly unfolds into something...expansive and tart."

Following his minimalist dictum that "any more than three tracks on a song is just indulgence," his debut EP's four cuts on The Loin King share a sleek, spare design, jigsawing slinky bass, classic keys, lean drum programming, and flashes of synth mirage into fluid, aerodynamic patterns. Touches of melodic acid and crossover new wave color the mood an exotic, hedonistic hue (further evinced by titles like "The Loin King" and "French Kissing In The House Of Love"). His own vision of the project is appropriately fantastical: "The image in my mind is of tropical forests at night, torchlight, distant sounds of tribal ritual dance and ghosts."

Like many kids in late 80s/early 90s Belgium, AAGUILAA was captivated by the swirling innovation of EBM and New Beat. But only after experiencing the full-body feeling of italo disco and hi-NRG played over a proper soundsystem he matured his lifetime love for neon lights and for the darker, synthesized side of dance music.

He is resident and programmer at Los Niños but also known as the founder of FFORMATT, our temporary cultural space in the heart of Brussels, now closed.

DOLLY BING BING IS A GLAMOROUS ALIEN POPSTAR created and impersonated by Ghent-based artist/dancer Elisabeth Van Dam.

As a performance project she is a Gesamtkunstwerk. Dolly is a sculpture. Dolly is a sex icon. Dolly is a superwoman. Dolly is a heroine. Dolly is a ‘new Venus’. Dolly is the future. But Dolly is also music. Her songs and performances are created in collaboration with composer/producer Alien Observer (Laurens Mariën, NEIN, ex-Soldier’s Heart). Together they aspire to shape ‘the trippy soundtrack of a beautiful metaphysical future’, melting r&b, rap and experimental electronics with lyrical pop, philosophy and poetry. Thinking from the darkness of the female ‘hard core’, with her glossy make-up doll face, open soul and flaming tenderness, juicy love warrior Dolly inspires women to be sexual, powerful, aggressive and cool, yet loving, transformative, generous and soft. As a living sculpture, with her hyper trained body and super toned muscles, and as a bad-ass post-apocalypse bitch, Dolly reaches beyond the limits of human life into the animal, digital, hybrid, enhanced and heavenly.

Joakim remains difficult to categorize since 1999. Classically trained (piano) at the Conservatoire, he prefers not to get labels sticked on.

He has a global vision on music and with everything he does we can truly say he is an extraordinary talent : 5 albums on his name, founder of Tigersushi and Crowdspacer, graphic designer, producer (Chk Chk Chk, Juveniles, Zombie Zombie, Poni Hoax, .. ), remixer (Antena, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Todd Terje, ...), fashion lover (Tigersushi clothing line), sound scaper for fashion shows (Chanel, Margiela, Balenciaga), artist (Biennale de Venise + Gwangju).

The Stress is the DJ alter ego of Diederick van den Ende. Starting out in 2011, The Stress hosted Sunday afternoon chillwave / electro-pop parties in his hometown Utrecht and started DJ’ing. While the nu-disco wave spread across Europe, The Stress played his first gigs in Amsterdam. It was here that he developed his taste for progressive disco, mixed with queer-, vogue-, house-, internet-, new beat-, and electro-influences.

The Stress is resident DJ for the Amsterdam based queer family UltraSexi and a regular for our parties.

Because of The Stress’ involvement in activism and academia, The Stress solely plays for queer, pride and intersecting causes worth supporting.

Alex and Afonso are from Lisbon. They moved to London in 2013 and started deejaying in two years later at the glorious (now closed) The George and Dragon. From then on they have played at some of the most effervescent club nights in London (Sassitude and LOVERBOY, amongst others) including RAD FESTA, their own party. Their Belgian debute will be at Les Bals.
