The Stress is the DJ alter ego of Diederick van den Ende. Starting out in 2011, The Stress hosted Sunday afternoon chillwave / electro-pop parties in his hometown Utrecht and started DJ’ing. While the nu-disco wave spread across Europe, The Stress played his first gigs in Amsterdam. It was here that he developed his taste for progressive disco, mixed with queer-, vogue-, house-, internet-, new beat-, and electro-influences. The Stress is resident DJ for the Amsterdam based queer family UltraSexi and a regular for our parties. Because of The Stress’ involvement in activism and academia, The Stress solely plays for queer, pride and intersecting causes worth supporting. |

Graaf Drankula
(Amsterdam (NL)) - dj
Graaf Drankula, one of Jordi Ariza Gallego's alter egos, is the theatrical deejay better known as one of the founders of the Amsterdam queer family UltraSexi. Under this banner, notorious queer nights were organized such as M.U.L.T.I.S.E.X.I. and the slightly hysterical pop-culture party F*CKING POP QUEERS! As a disc jockey, the Count fills the dance floor with intense queer love beats, carefree yet manic, taken on a homo-eclectic journey across genres and eras. In daylight, Jordi is the curator of the art project Sociëteit SEXYLAND, a conceptual club with room for experimentation; a place where all kinds of ideas can get a platform. Where failure is allowed and where radical equality is paramount. In addition, he has been working for years on setting up a new (queer) culture clubhouse in the heart of the city, called: Europa. A theatrical new place where artists and queers can play, meet and strengthen each other. An intended beacon of hope and love in our continent. |

Boys' Shorts are a Greek dj/production duo, consisting of Vangelis (formerly of LAGASTA) and electronic recording artist Tareq. Their sound is a blend of everything they love to mix in their DJ sets - from House to slow techno and from disco to acid. To quote the boys “We make people dance!” They’ve released on labels like HE.SHE.THEY, Cormac’s Polari Records, Permanent Vacation, Future Disco, Iptamenos Discos, Live at Robert Johnson and Love Child. They’ve also delivered remixes for Alison Goldfrapp, Poolside, Yuksek w/ Polo & Pan, Kasper Bjorke, Boy George, Local Suicide w/ Lena Platonos, Daddy Squad w/ Zoot Woman, Casey Spooner (Fischerspooner), Mala Ika, and Kito Jempere ft. Wolfram, to name a few. Their track “New Era” reached No1 on both Beatport and the Juno Download chart, as well as being hot listed on Germany’s Radio Eins, and their track "Fantastic" received support from BBC Radio 1. The last couple of years has seen them tour around Europe, playing in world renowned venues while also bringing their unique sound to festivals. Building on their success the boys have also enjoyed playing at New York’s fab places as well as opening for Hot Chip’s concert at the Knockdown Center! The start of 2024 found them supporting the first leg of Alison Goldfrapp’s Love Invention UK Tour! |

Daniel Wang
(Berlin (DE)) - dj
Born in California and raised in Taiwan, the well-traveled producer Daniel Wang has been among the most restless and classically minded members of the dance music community over the last decade. Wang made a name for himself in the mid '90s Chicago house scene with a series of playful, funky, sample-delic 12-inches on his own Balihu label, compiled on 1998's I Was a Disco Malcontent: The Best of Balihu Records. Rooted in the pioneering disco and techno innovations of Giorgio Moroder, Kraftwerk, Francois K, Arthur Russell, the releases earned Wang a reputation for being something of a dance music purist, a notion underscored by his philosophy that the whole of house music can be summed up in 200 pieces of vinyl, while all the rest are merely variations. Later in the '90s, Wang relocated to New York City, where he forged a friendship with the similarly retro-minded Morgan Geist of Metro Area. By this point, Wang had given up on the samples which cluttered his early releases, taking his back-to-basics ethic one step further. He'd also become an avid theremin enthusiast. In 2001, Geist's Environ label put out Wang's soulful, '70s boogie-inspired album Idealism. Given Wang's love for all things disco, he was an appropriate choice to lead off Ghostly International's acclaimed 2002 nu-skool electro comp, Disco Nouveau. He does this in style with the thumping, funky, quite cinematic Moroder homage "Pistol Oderso." |

AAGUILAA
(Lisbon (PT)) - dj
Like many kids in late 80s/early 90s Belgium, AAGUILAA was captivated by the swirling innovation of EBM and New Beat. But only after experiencing the full-body feeling of italo disco and hi-NRG played over a proper soundsystem he matured his lifetime love for neon lights and for the darker, synthesized side of dance music. He is resident and programmer at Los Niños but also known as the founder of FFORMATT, our temporary cultural space in the heart of Brussels, now closed. You can listen to his vinyl & quality music selection on radio stations as Kiosk Radio, Red Light Radio, The Lot, We Are Various, East Side etc. Playing in bars and basements, from private parties to events in metro stations, including Lisbon, Berlin, Paris, Milan, Vienna etc. |
