23:00:00 - 00:00:00(Washington DC (USA)) - concert
Out of the ashes of the Washington, D.C., suburban dude music scene crash the three ladies of Partyline! Armed with politics, punk and a penchant for partying (and sharing phone lines), they thrash vigilantly against boredom, the Bush regime and body control! Girls with glasses, they'll squash you like a bug!
Partyline consists of the usual suspects: singer Allison Wolfe (Bratmobile, Cold Cold Hearts, riot grrrl, Ladyfest, etc.), guitarist Angela Melkisethian (Savage Boys & Girls Club, Crucial Defect, Hott Beat, as seen on American Idol, etc.), and drummer Crystal Bradley (The Applicators, Howler Monkey, etc.). Fusing partying and politics to perfection, Partyline songs nail such hot topics as consumer advocate/Presidential candidate Ralph Nader ("Unsafe at Any Speed"), brainy broads ("Girls with Glasses"), female trouble ("No Romantic"), right-wing anti-abortion Christians ("Party-n-Animal"), the awful Bush administration ("Zombie Terrorist"), oppressive gender roles ("Ladies' Room," "Trophy Wifey"), and feeling trapped like a bug ("Cicada Summer").

Joost Van Bellen
Joost Van Bellen has been a dj since 1985, always mad about music, starting illegal clubnights in squats in Amsterdam with 60's psychedelic garagepunk. He switched to acid house late '87, which made him one of the pioneers of electronic dance music in Europe, all at the legendary RoXY club, of which he has been artistic director from '91 to '96.
He still loves acid and raw. He started to make proper music with Richard Cameron under the name Cowgum in 2005, "Filthy & Raw" being a club hit in New York, Barcelona, L.A., Berlin, Amsterdam and some other funny places. They are working hard at their studio in Berlin and will most probably bring out an album later in 2007, with a new member, Mark Verbos, the techno and acid wizzard and man behind those great Tommie Sunshine productions.
Cowgum has done a remix of the opening choir of J.S. Bach's Matthaus Passsion too, an art project he started with visual artist 00Kaap, cooperating with several other producers and video artists. Some press hating them for actualizing the story about the last days of Jesus and touching one of the most respected art pieces ever made, but they could not care less, the result has been mind blowing to many.
He is behind a Dutch party organisation organizing great Rock&Rave in the Netherlands. Though he is over a hundred years old, he continues travelling the globe!
He is a member of De Nachtwacht, a group of 9 experts on culture and nightlife, from 2003 till 2006 we have been the first elected Night Mayors of Amsterdam, advising the city of Amsterdam and it's inhabitants on nightlife.
Together with Sanyi they do music for international fashion shows. Highlight of 2006 was the Lifeball in Vienna together with the likes of Nina Hagen, The Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Naomi Campbell and many more. He loves to do soundscores for fashionshows, and has always been supporting the young Dutch designers, from the first Viktor&Rolf presentation in Paris beginning nineties to all the new ones: his favourite now is Bas Kosters.

Diskokaine aka Marflow aka Wolfram
Diskokaine's head is the Austrian guy Wolfram (marflow backwards) Eckert, a talented DJ and producer who has donned some of the world's finest clubs with his italo antics not to mention being a mix-robot on the Cybernetic Broadcasting System.
His new single features Legowelt on keyboards and Princes superstar on vocals is getting crazy hype. His most recent release is out on Gomma with remixes by Alexander Robotnik and Patrick pulsinger. The sweetest guy who knows how to party!
Has he ever been arrested with a name mentioning drugs? "Once I fought with my girlfriend really loudly and the police came and asked if I'd hit her 'cos the neighbours called them in fear of a chainsaw massacre next door," he says. "I told them that we are just fistfucking. Nevertheless, I had to pay 80 fucking euros." His conclusion? "In Austria, penetrating your own girl costs more than a hooker. Damn!"
On the private side : his mother says that his haircut looks like shit, his dad doesn't care about that but he thinks that he can't deal with money, especially the money he doesn't earn by himself!
His view on his work : "Several promotors from berlin, nyc, london, turkey, warsaw, chicago, paris, amsterdam etc. invited me in the last 12 month to play my bad music at their parties. Somehow they didnt invite me ever again! Nevertheless A.Robotnick,Princess Superstar and Legowelt think i'll have a big future.....thanks to this naivity of them that they worked with me on some songs. my girlfriend always tells me that i'm bad in bed and that i'm getting fad. my "MS Word"programm just tells me with those underlined red words that my english sucks big time and furthermore my german in interviews is even worse."
