ARTISTSFriday 09 6 2006
21:00:00 - 22:00:00() - food |
It has been since La Terremotto in 2006 that we didn't have one so : time for an organic barbeque ! Café Capital is an ideal location with the superb terrace with view over the park. To know how much meat to buy, tickets only available in presale To have a cheap price (6 euro) we have to limit the offer, so as much as we would have loved to offer a veggie bbq, we can't (unless you decide to bring at least 10 others with you) You will get (all organic): 1 hamburger, 1 sausage with delicious herbs, 1 portion of ribs, that'll be about 300 grs of meat + salad + bbq potato + bread. Mmmmmh ... Starts at 20:00, finished at 22:00 Everyone is welcome from 20:00 on, even if you didn't buy a bbq ticket. You just pay 8 euro at the entrance and get no food ;) Presale stops at August 31st as we then have to order the meat ! |

Monica Electronica
(Amsterdam (NL)) - dj
ELECTRO.ITALO.DISCO.ROCK. Emma Elisabet Baas was born on the 29th of march 1978 in Delft, the Netherlands. Coming from a musical family, both sister and steph-father drummers, at home everything was about music. When Emma was 18 years old, she moved to Rotterdam to study at the school of Arts, and gratuated as an art-director in Advertising in 2000. During her study she bought 2 old recordplayers, (one without pitch) borrowed a mixer from a friend and threw parties at home. That’s where her passion for music and dj-ing grew stronger. After her study she travelled around the world to dance, she was a part of ‘Aquarella do Brasil’ a brazillian samba showballet from Rotterdam. After one year of dancing she started working for a filmproduction company. For two years she free-lanced as an assistant producer and assistant director. Only from ’02 she became more active as a dj. Every month in Club Stalker in Haarlem Monica Electronica and Estelle Decibel played as a dj duo by the name: ‘De Nachtzusters’ (‘The Nightsisters’). In the summer of ’03, Monica Electronica and two of her friends (one of them Dj Josz Lebon) felt it was time for a residency, so they created a place of there own.. A new bar was born on the roof of the Van Nelle factory in Rotterdam and called it: Bar Tabac. They set the tone with a not often heard sound in the region: ElectroItaloDiscoNewbeatRock.. Her connection with Electronation really took her dj career a few steps further. She started playing in several famous clubs in Holland. In ‘04 Monica Electronica started to travel around to spin the weels with international gigs. |

Jean Paul Lespagnard
(Brussel/Antwerpen (BE)) - visuals
Jean-Paul Lespagnard is a fashion designer, costume designer for theatre and dance, visual artist and stylist for magazines. He combines a great sense of fashion with a fascination for high and low art and for popular culture in all its shapes and forms. Jean-Paul studied visual arts and fashion design in Liège (Belgium) and Luxembourg. He was a collaborator of Anna Sui (New York) for two collections and was an assistant to Annemie Verbeke (Brussels). He has created the costumes for several theatre and dance productions and is a regular collaborator of choreographer Meg Stuart / Damaged Goods (Brussels / Berlin). In 2008 Jean-Paul won two awards at the International Fashion Festival in Hyères (France), which led to the creation of a capsule collection for the French brand 123. He recently founded his own brand, Jean-Paul Lespagnard, and presents his second women's ready-to-wear collection during Paris Fashion Week in October 2011. All Jean-Paul!s creations reveal an overflowing imagination and he eloquently succeeds in communicating his optimistic universe where originality and offbeat style go hand in hand with a playful irreverence for convention and the generally accepted. Jean-Paul Lespagnard wants to offer luxury, not material luxury but the real thing: the freedom to be who you want to be. |
