Röze is a young gentleman born in the Andes. At young age he wanted to dj and he invented the non classifiable party concept "Dansez vous français" together with his friends. He lives between the mountains of the Andes, the super center of Europe and other small places. Hij is the muse of the recently made short films by François Marache "Banana Split" and "Nana Again". Disco has made a big impression on him but he also has a particular interest in the cabaret style and the french chanson. For Los Ninos he is preparing a special cinema inspired set: discover Vladimir Cosmma, Jaques Demy and others on Saturday March 25 ! |

Noblesse Oblige
(London (UK)) - concert
NOBLESSE OBLIGE, formed in early 2004 by Franco / German pair Sebastian and Valerie, have spent the last ten months playing dates in Berlin, Paris and London, gaining a notorious reputation for their wild shows. Raw yet sensual, sleazy but sublime, they effortlessly combine heavy, edgy electronics with infectious, twisted pop to great effect. 'Quel Genre De Garçon' / 'Lil’ Dirty', a double A side release, is the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut release 'Bitch' / 'Daddy (Don't Touch Me There)' and sees them fuse sixties’ chanson and military beats with broken guitars and transgressive folklore. Released on CD and 7" vinyl, the new single also features their brilliant take on Minty's 'Useless Man' featuring vocal samples from the late Leigh Bowery and is a taste of what to expect from their forthcoming album 'Privilege Entails Responsibility'. Noblesse Oblige have toured and performed with bands including Selfish Cunt, Martini Henry Rifles, Kaito, Protocol and Boston’s Dresden Dolls among others, and performed a series of Live concerts in Berlin including the acclaimed Hebbel Theatre as part of the 2005 Live Brits season. Other highlights include a live appearance at The London Goethe Institute as part of the Exhibition Road Music Day, London’s renowned Fete de la Musique and their show at the Berlin Insane III release party at Club 103 in Berlin alongside artists including Crossover and Adamski. The duo has also been regularly invited to perform and DJ at notorious club nights. Check the dj page. An exclusive Noblesse Oblige song, ‘Offensive Nonsense’, is soon to be released alongside Fixmer/McCarthy, Whitey and many others on the BERLIN INSANE III compilation by the Pale Music Label in Berlin. It's available for lovers in the download section! Press articles, reviews and features on the band have been included in NME, Tank Magazine (including 2 tracks on the cover CD), Record Collector, iDJ, DJ Magazine, M8, and many others. A recent photo shoot with celebrated photographer Nick Knight can be seen in the October 2005 Issue of iD. |

Sammy Jo Scissor Sister Tour dj
(New York (US)) - dj
In 1997, DJ Sammy Jo took his first steps into a dj booth at the legendary New York City nightclub MOTHER (home to the infamous Jackie 60 party) for his first ever nightlife venture called "Messy". Expanding his playlist to include current dance music, Sammy Jo was eventually recruited to play at the original cyberfetish party Click + Drag where he met and collaborated with Jake Shears of soon-to-be-formed Scissor Sisters. As neighbours and like-minded artists the two discovered a common passion for all types of music. In the spring of 2004 Shears asked Sammy Jo to dj on the Scissor Sisters Crevice Canyon Tour, a union that worked so well the band recruited him as their official tour dj. Since then Sammy Jo has been playing clubs throughout Europe on his own creating a name for himself while also supporting the Scissor Sisters whenever they call on him. From dingey pubs to warehouse parties to playing for 60,000 people a festival, his unique style of blending electro, house, and dark disco has him spending half his year travelling the world while the other half he maintains residencies in New York City. |

Lupe
(Amsterdam (NL)) - dj
Lupe has convinced the Amsterdam party scene of his dj qualities since 2003. He has his own clubnights and dj residencies in Amsterdam's coolest places. He also supervises the Fashion Radio in Studio 80 and "Vreemd" (=strange) in the Sugarfactory. His style consists of the best electronic dance, acid, electro and minimal with unexpected classics, based on chicago house and disco. Both the music expert and the regular party swinger love it! He played the biggest Dutch indoor dance event Innercity, Rauw and Smoke in 11, Paradiso, de Stalker, Waterfront en de Sugar Factory next to Dj T, Booka Shade, Tiga, Miss Kittin, Alloy Mental, the Glimmers , The Detroit Grand Pubahs, Joost van Bellen & Larry Tee. At the infamous "Gouden Kabouter (Golden Dwarf) Awards" Lupe was nominated "Best New DJ", next to his nomination for his own clubnight UNK for "Best Underground Clubnight". Lupe started bying Disco, House and Acid at age 13 en sees his current style as rounding up the circle. "I think the lo-fi, electro-funky acidsound is the most energetic music around. This sounds combines perfectly well with new electronics, which makes your head definitely pop off!" He doesn't limit himself - and more important - his audience to 1 musicstyle. |
