From Petach Tiqva to Ft. Lauderdale to a carefully managed escape to NYC in 1988, Liad Krispin is by no means your typical “old-school” DJ. In 1997, with the support of a few close DJ friends, he launched Hamsa, a much-loved underground party in New York, where he played along side legends such as Joe Claussell, Danny Krivit and Ron Trent. In 2008, Krispin moved to Berlin where he spent the next 15 years cultivating his current sound & style. His musical taste spans over 4 decades and 3 continents to provide an eclectic-yet-alwaysevolving influence that is rooted in underground dance music and stretches from Disco to House to Techno and everything in between. Krispin currently resides in Basel and travels often to his previous hometown of Berlin to play as part of his longtime residence at the infamous Cocktail d'Amore party, be part of Budino’s newly launched party, Nothing Special, or simply to get his Berlin dance floor fix. Krispin also plays regularly at various local parties such as Gegen, Lab.Dance @Lab.Oratory (BH), Power Dance Club, Buttons, and Dessert.
