Immy is a lifelong student of music history with a big passion for the NYC music scenes from 1969-1999 focusing mainly the Disco & House scenes, especially the Loft and the Paradise Garage. She collects and plays everything from ambient, soul, funk, disco & reggae to house, techno, electro, hardcore and progressive trance. A firm believer that the dance floor can be a healing space, she often cuts and throws in acapellas in club sets where she sees fit to emphasize her storytelling. When not behind the booth, she can be found as taking care of sound/archiving, doing artist care or spontaneously lending a hand at any functions she may be attending. Immy is a music enthusiast raised in Canada and living in Berlin since 2009.
